Course Description
This refresher course is intended for providers with at least 5 years of experience in providing intrapartum care. To enroll in this course, you must have completed the Fundamentals of Fetal Health Surveillance course at least twice.The course will review the fundamental concepts of fetal surveillance in labour as well as their application in several case studies and the communication strategies which are essential to interdisciplinary labour care.

The Fetal Health Surveillance Refresher Education Program consists of an online and in-person component. Learners are required to 1) review the online self-learning fetal health surveillance manual (UBC CPD e-learning site), 2) complete an online examination (UBC CPD e-learning site) and 3) attend a 4 hour in person workshop.
